We recently completely a full renovation of a hall floor for a school who needed to revive a space which had been heavily used over a number of years and was showing its age.
Our goal was to renovate the floor in a safe and considered manner and ensure its adequately protected for years to come.

Our Approach
Step 1: Professional Sanding System
We carried out a full sand back using Lagler dust-free sanding systems, ideal for live environments such as schools and public buildings.
Process included:
- Progressive sanding through 40 / 60 / 80 / 100 grits
- Final sanding to 120 grits using our Bona FlexiSand machine
- Full removal of previous coatings, wear patterns, and contaminants

✔ Clean, consistent finish across large areas
Step 2: Commercial Grade Protection
To ensure long-term performance, we applied:
Bona Traffic HD (3 coats)
A market-leading, commercial lacquer designed for:
