Professional Wood Floor Maintenance
Regular maintenance of your wood flooring can help extend the life of your floor. Wood floors are highly durable but will benefit from routine cleaning, occasional refinishing. and prompt attention to spills to help preserve their appearance.
With proper care you can maintain the beauty of your wood flooring for many years. We help homeowners in Taunton and the South West of England with our expert maintenance service. Our scrub and re-seal service includes a deep cleanse of your floor, a light abrasion of the finish, and applying a coating which will postpone the need for a full restoration.
Scrub And Re-seal Maintenance Service
We offer professional wood floor maintenance services, commonly referred to as a scrub and re-seal.
Please note that identifying the original treatment applied to your wood floor is essential before this service can be carried out.
This process begins with a deep clean of your floor using specialised equipment. Once the surface is fully dry, we lightly abrade the existing finish to create a suitable key before applying a maintenance coating that is fully compatible with your current floor finish. The process will extend the durability of your floor and postpone the need and expense of a full refurbishment.
A scrub and reseal will not remove scratches, stains or other imperfections from your wood floor. It simply applies a fresh coat of seal that tops up the protection and life of your floor.
